The soft sound of gravel crunching underneath a pair of boots underscores the crisp silence of the early morning. The young, brown haired man approaches the mansion's front entrance at a casual stroll, looking around all the while with curious eyes.
"So this is the place, huh?" His breath shows white in the fresh air as he tugs his denim jacket straight in a nervous gesture. Pausing in front of the stairs leading up to the entrance he glances back over his shoulder, but then grins and shakes his head. "I don't know why I get this nervous every time coming to a new place. You'd think I was used to it by now."
With a soft chuckle he heads up the stairs determinedly. "And I gotta stop talking to myself." Arriving in front of the heavy wooden doors, he turns toward them, then resolutely grabs the door knocker and lets the penetrating sound announce his presence to those inside.

The door slowly opened to show a young man with brown hair. He was dressed in a suit, looking like a butler. "Yes, how can I help you sir?"

"Ah, good morning!" The visitor greets the young man with a polite bow. "I am a traveler, in search of... mystery and the unexplained." His eyes glance the butler up and down, as if trying to judge his reaction. "Stories - rumors, really - speak of this mansion and its master, igniting a spark of curiosity in me. I was hoping... Would it be possible for me to have a look around?"

The young butler smiled as he took a step back. "But of course. Would you like someone to show you around?" He asked.

"That would be most helpful," the young visitor told the butler as he accepted the invitation to enter. "I fear that I would soon be quite lost without." He looked around to take in the inside of the mansion.
"Oh! Where are my manners?" After shaking his head at himself briefly, the young man bowed in greeting to the butler. "My name is Thanead. Loid Thanead. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"The pleasure is all mine Loid." The young butler said, taking a slight bow. "My name is Scott."

After a smile and a nod to acknowledge the butler's introduction Loid's eyes again roamed the room. Curiosity was mixed with excitement in his expression.

"If you'd follow me we'll see if we can't find a room to your liking." Scott said, heading to one of the hallways that led out of the foyer.

The young man raised a curious eyebrow at those words as he followed after his guide. A room to his liking? Did the butler mean for him to spend the night? Or did he mean something else? Though he could just be letting his overactive imagination carry him away.

After walking past many doors and turning multiple corners Scott stopped infront of a door. There was an image of a combined male and female symbol on the door. "I think you will find this room a fine first choice." Scott smiled, openning the door.

Already the young man was looking around, as if trying to get his bearings. As they stopped in front of the door, his gaze found the sign and looked at it curiously. "Indeed? Then, I shall take your word for it. I can go in?" Almost without waiting for an answer, he lays his hand on the doorknob and opens the door.

Inside was a strange looking bedroom. Everything seemed to be devided in half between two different styles. Part of the bed was pink with curtains hanging from the top, but the other half looked like a regular bed. The part holding up the curtains just disappeared as it reached the other side of the bed. The chair was split between a hardwood chair on one side, and a lovely crafted chair with half a cushion on it.

"Uhm... Wow." Looking around curiously the young man headed for the center of the strange room. "Everything's half masculine and half feminine..." He chuckled. "Kinda reminds me of my own, if a bit more... direct." Loid ran his hand over the back of the chair, feeling for a break between the two halves. "How was this made? It looks amazing!"

"I'm not sure about the details, only that it took quite a while to make it right." Scott said as Loid found no break between the two halves of the chair.

"Admiring my handiwork?" came a voice from the doorway causing both heads to turn.
