Looking up in surprise, the visitor turned towards the door. "You are the one who made this?"

Scott turned toward the door. "I didn't think I'd see you today sir." He said, giving a slight bow.

"No need for that, Scott" Hugo mused as he entered. "Yes I did craft this chair, one of my first additions to the Mansion when my father still owned it"

"I am impressed by your skill, sir," the guest told the man, who he suspected could be the master of the house. "I am Loid Thanead, traveller, explorer and researcher of things unexplained. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"and I consider it an honor myself" Hugo said as he extended his hand. "I am glad you found your way to our humble abode" he smiled.

Taking the proffered hand, Loid shook it warmly. "It was not easy to find, but everything so far tells me it was worth it," he told his host. Once more he looked around the room. "I must say, this room does make a very bold statement. It's wonderful!"

"My sister designed the style for this room. I think she did a marvelous job. Now is there anything we can help you with, my friend?"

After looking once more around the room, the young man turned his eyes back to the master of the house. Some nervousness showed on his face, though his voice was frank. "Ah, yes... As I told Mr. Scott -" he nodded to the young man, "- I was attracted by the... rumours concerning your mansion. They speak of... unusual happenings, and of... changes." At the last word the guest's cheeks reddened ever so slightly; he took a moment to clear his throat as he fought the blush down. "I am... an explorer, so to say, in search of the mysteries hidden in oneself. How so say..." His eyes darted around the room, as if looking for way to put his thoughts into words. They settled on the half hardwood, half crafted chair, and a small smile played briefly around his lips. "I explore the many facets of one's personality. I find that much can be learned about oneself, and others, when one is given... experiences outside of their usual path in life. In short... I am hoping to find such experiences here."
He fell silent, seemingly a bit flushed from the delivery of his explanation, yet also proud of having found a way to vocalize the feelings inside him.

"You've heard my mansion transforms people. You wish to see if this is true?"

The touch of red on the young man's cheeks deepened. "That... would be an accurate summary, yes."

"Well, it is true! I can transform you however you wish." He said with a smile.

The guest looked at the master of the house with new respect. "That means... you're a... sorceror?"

"Wizard." he corrected. "Come from a long line of wizards specializing in physical transformations. My father posed a stage magician and would grand people's wishes of new bodies under the guise of illusion." he said.

"That is a truly admirable goal." The look in Loid's eyes was a dreamy one. "I am sure you and he have made many people very happy." The young man hesitated for a moment. "Uhm... Would it be very impertinent of me to ask for a demonstration...?"

"Of course not. What would you like me to change about you?" he asked simply.
