Stopping and placing your ear against the wall you listen to the noise. As you listen you start to realize its running water...but it doesn't sound like its in a pipe or anything. The way it sounds reminds you of the wastelands river, only smaller in sound and possibly size.

The mouse heads through the hole, the two of you following after it. Once out the hole you and Delia put a hand over your noses, surprised to find yourselves in a sewer.

The small size I was, i think was making everything smell worst then it was. Light twinkling down from above and the sound of people above large shoes now and then seen from the vents. People talking, and going about, while we were way under foot. As I look back, i notice the mouse was gone. "Where did the mouse go?"

"Home or something." Delia said, sounding nasally with her nose pinched shut. "You feel up for letting me carry you up to the vent?" She asked, seeing no other way out of the sewer besides the way they came.

"we better, I am sure there is a good chance there are worst things down here, and not all nice like that mouse was, who ever it was". She reach around me, and held me a bit closesr this time, as she was more carrying me this time, then helping me rech something, and carefully took off for the vent.

She ascended slowly, not use to carrying the extra weight almost straight up. When she finally reached the vent the two of you found yourselves in some big city, the lights keeping the stars from shining. "Where are we?" Delia asked, looking around in amazement.

She kept climbing, till she rested on a shop's overhang. We see lots of people walking below, never notices, two very small people watching. "I think this is a city of some kind, but we did not walk that far, did we?"

"No, but don't forget it was magic that put us in that cage." Delia reminded you. "We could be anywhere outside the mansion."

I looked around nervous. It was a little fun being small and large, safely in the mansion, but outside of it, i felt scared. I watch people, while Delia looked up the sky. "How long has it been?" I asked her.

"Not sure. Its not like back home." She said sadly. "The city is too bright for me to see the stars."

I look above and around. I see a park close by. "Delia, do you think you could reach that park over there. At this time of night, there should be less foot traffic, and it may be safer and a little quieter also."

She looks over in the direction you're pointing before looking to you. "I think so...You're not hurting too much are you?" She asked, worried about your injuries. "It might not be the smoothest flight."

"I seem to be healing quickly, it just going to take a bit. Let go". She takes a moment to look at me, and lifts me up, flying towards the tree. She seems to be going faster, like she showing off, or maybe stretching her wings, and we reach the tree. I grip the side a little, a little scared, but she easily walks the branch, like she not afraid. The sounds are mostly muffle over here. The lights are dimmer to, as I watch her taking a deep breath.

She let out the deep breath with a smile. "Amazing how much cleaner the air is here compared to the rest of the city." Delia said, turning back to look at you. She looked at you in confusion as you gripped the tree.
