"Yeah, I bet you..." May said sarcastically before hearing the sound of glass cracking. She looked up and was shocked to see Vanessa swelling up and turning blue.

May dropped her book as she rushed over to grab the jar. Seeing no way to pull Vanessa out she did the only thing she could think of, she started banging the jar on the counter to break it.

May held the jar over her head before tossing it down. The glass shattered while Vanessa bounced a bit, continuing to swell bigger.

May grabbed Vanessa and ran out into the garden. Free of the jar her swelling seemed to pick up as she soon reached the size of a beach ball with no sign of slowing down.
