It all started within a certain jewelry store as Julius looked at a strange pair of earrings. "Hard to believe these are worth so much given how old they look at the metal." he said.

"The metal might be old, but the stones in them are in good shape." Marsha said. "The owner got them off some young guy looking to make a quick buck selling off family jewelry."

"Still, this price. No one could afford that." he said.

"What about your girlfriend? She's loaded isn't she?" She asked. "Yeah, but why waste money on earrings in this condition?" Julius asked.

"Yeah. THese have been here for about 10 years now. No ones even looked in their direction." Marsha said.

"Maybe I should talk to the owner about dropping the price..." Julius said.

"Please. They're not gonna drop." Marsha said. "Nope. We'll just have to wait for someone to buy them."

"Yes. Indeed." a woman said. "I will buy them as gifts for my niece."

"Well then...If you have the money..." Martha said, smiling as the woman flashed a credit card. "I'm sure your niece will love these." Martha smiled, ringing the woman up at the register.

"Hope her niece doesn't mind the metal..." Julius said. "Maybe she'll have her hair cut in a way to hide the metal." Martha said as she put the copy of the receipt away.

"Maybe..." Julius said.
It was later in the week that the earrings were delivered to a young teenage girl for her birthday via the mail. This girl was part of a very wealthy family that lived in a large mansion. Her name was Erin, a young girl who had an average look to her.
