A young maiden stood there, her hair tied into a braid. "You're here regarding the body guard job?" She asked curiously.

"Wonderful. If you'll come in I'll let the lord know someone has arrived." She smiled, letting them in. Stepping inside Karen and Henry looked around, surprised how well kept the place was.

"You two don't look like body guards." He said, looking them over. "Looks aren't everything sir. We are fully capable of protecting you." Karen said before the man scoffed. "And who said I was the one who needed protecting?" He asked before gesturing to the maiden. She hurried out of the room before returning with three glasses on a tray.

"Figured you two might be thirsty if you're serious about the job." He said, gesturing to a couch. "Perhaps you should tell us about the job." Henry said, setting her sword scabbard against the couch before sitting down. "If the job isn't protecting you, then who?"

"Close. My son." He said, taking one of the cups and drinking it himself. "He's grown lazy from my wealth, so I've made arrangements for him to work for a friend of mine. Thing is my friend lives in the next kingdom over. Not an easy journey what with the monsters and thieves out there."
