She looked down to see scales on her legs. "I see." Beth said getting out. "This spring is enchanted."

As she stood on the shore Beth watched as the scales stopped spreading. After a couple minutes they began to vanish as her legs returned to normal. Looking back out to the spring Beth saw Cam's tail as she dove below the surface.

"Hmm. A spring that makes one a mermaid. How interesting." Beth said. "Cam, how do you feel?"

"It would be nice if it was bigger...Like a lake." Cam said, splashing some water as she swam around.

"Hmm. Well let's find one then." Beth said bending over and carrying Cam out of the spring.

"Wow...Feels like you might have put on a little weight." Beth said, carrying Cam up the embankment as the mermaid giggled.
