In this strange city of constant changes to people, things hardly ever stay ordinary as they go through their day to day lives. However, deep within the city, there is a small little place to let them unwind. A small coffee shop that tends to open usually when the dusk hits.
Inside was a young man as he cleaned a few cups as the door opened. "Hello and welcome. Please take a seat." he said.

Walking over to a counter seat a young woman looked exhausted. Sitting down she ran a hand through her short hair.

"Welcome back maam. What can I..." he said. "Spiced Lady please." she said as he poured the chocolate and milk before adding the cinnamon. "Something up?"

"Work has been extra stressful." She said as he placed the cup before her. "Important deadline or new coworkers?" He asked as she lifted the cup to her lips.

"Equipment, though the new person they added to the team hasn't been great to get along with either." She sighed. "He's kind of young and too focused on making a good impression to be helpful."

"Yes. Think he's just trying to get in good with the boss, and the boss's daughter." She groaned. "Doesn't help he's keeping the boss up to date on every problem we're trying to fix."

"Not when he's throwing us under the bus and trying to make us look incompetent. If he were helping fine, but he's hardly lifted a finger, not to mention things didn't go bad until today."
