Hurrying to the phone Shawn dialed his in-laws. He hoped Jess would be alright on her way to Missy's.

As he waited he watched Jessie start setting the table. He was then surprised when he heard eating on the other end of the phone. "Hello? Mrs. Sinclair? Mr. Sinclair?" Shawn asked curiously. Listening closely it sounded like the eating was some distance from the phone.

He was surprised when the phone suddenly went dead. "What the..." He said before hearing the oven shut off. "Daddy, I think the power's out." Jessie said.
