"I dunno. I just wanna be as helpful as possible." she said.

“It might give some of the ladies a chance to focus on mending clothes and other things.” Jun’ichi said. “And maybe the men could try fishing...” He said. “As long as they don’t go up into the mountains.” His mother said.

"Why up the mountains?" Haruka said.

[observer]

“There is some lake that the fish in belongs to the gods.” He said. “Don’t act like it is just some story. The fish there grow big but aren’t for mortal consumption.” His mother said.

"Why not?" Haruka asked. "What happens if you eat one?"

[observer]

“No one really knows cause no one has been crazy enough to try.” He said.

[The Master of the World]

"Hmm...better not risk it." she said.

[observer]

“Smart girl.” The old woman said as she got up. “Think I’ll turn in early...”

'Yeah, think I'll turn in to." Haruka said yawning.

“Night.” Jun’ichi said as the two walked out of the room. He tended to the fire for a bit before calling it a night as well.

Months soon passed since Haruka stayed in that village, she had soon gained a reputation as the queen of the mountains and their protector.

[observer]

The villagers enjoyed their new protector and the work she did. Many enjoyed the free time they had while others worked on gifts to thank her for what she did for the village.

Then came a magical day where she stood at the altar with her soon to be husband, Jun'ichi.

She smiled at him as he blushed a bit. "You look beautiful..." He said.

"And you look cute." she said.
