"Ah...now this is nice. Sitting close to a campfire, enjoying the fresh forest air...how wonderful." Bob said as he and the family sat around a campfire.
"You sure we should be out there? Isn't the forest crawling with slimes and big fat people who wanna smooch us?" Andy asked.

"Yeah. I'm surprised anyone still camps out here after what happened to Jackie's boyfriend." Andrea said. "Take it easy you two. Your father and I did our research." Minda said. "Yeah, and this area hasn't seen either. The slimes keep close to the creek and caves while the smoochers tend to stay around higher altitudes." Bob said as Misty helped Dana with roasting a hot dog.

"Yeah." Dana nodded. "Come on kids, this is supposed to be a get away from all the weirdness of home." Bob said. "Yeah. I mean sure we could probably create a camping room at the house, but it doesn't feel the same." Minda said as they heard a howl in the distance. "What was that?" Andy asked nervously. "Relax. It's just a coyote." Bob said, roasting his own hot dog over the fire.

"An urban myth that has been going around for awhile now. Those who have seen her say she's a werewolf of a woman that lives in these woods, always with another wolf as well as a leopard by her side. Some say she was once human until the wolf by her side bit her and changed her." Andrea said.

Bob rolled his eyes while Petra and Dana looked a bit nervous. "Please. No one credible has ever seen her. All witnesses were found to be drunk at the time." Bob said.

"I dunno. Some say they've seen claw marks in the trunks of trees out here." Andrea said. "Could have been from a bear." Bob said.

"I don't know dad...They say the claws are 5 slashes instead of three." Andrea said. "That would be strange, but it could just be a werewolf roaming here on a full moon." Minda said. "I don't know mom...Those that claimed to see her said it happened during a dark night with no moon." Andrea said. "Then we should be fine. Despite a little cloud cover we have a half moon tonight." Bob smiled.

"Given we're out camping, why not tell a few spooky stories of the things that wonder the woods?" Misty asked. "I mean Andrea was just having a bit of fun. Something rare for her. Besides, didn't you and mom claim you did plenty of research before this trip? Surely anything out here you two could handle."

Clearing her throat Misty leaned in closer to the fire. "There have been talks of course of the fat smoochers, but one has to wonder why they keep up in the mountains? Perhaps there is a monster that wonders the woods...Something that stalks silently through the shadows in search of a meal." Misty smiled, swiping her hand over her little sisters heads.
