Cam readied her staff, gesturing to her sister to ready her dagger. Slowly the two walked around opposite sides of the cake, soon spotting their missing friends.

"Whoa." they said seeing them eat at the cake, slowly growing softer and fatter. "The heck is going on?" Cam said before listening to the chanting. "There!" she said seeing a mage standing there with a crystal ball. "The look...they're an illusionist."

"If that's true, then they wouldn't be attacking everyone and..." Tess said before he shoved a cupcake in her mouth. It was so tasty that she began to calm down as she ate it. "Sorry. Yes, I'm from our world." He said, pulling back his hood. "If that's true, what's with the large cake? Why attack those who sent the flyers?" Cam asked, keeping her staff at the ready.

"I tried to get someone's attention but no one would come to the door. So I used a spell to lure them out. It worked a little too well." he said.

"And the chanting?" Cam asked. "I was trying to undo the spell...With no real success..." He blushed, trying to keep Tess from joining the others at the cake.
