She fired the magic and destroyed the stall and ended up freeing the slaves as they ran off.

"Damn it..." Cam growled, holding on to Beth's arm tight as they ran. She threw her dagger toward the switch for the exit, hating that her friend's actions had just gotten them put to the top of a very dangerous list.

Cam looked at Beth in surprise before noticing the mage's eyes were glowing red. It quickly dawned on her that Beth hadn't just made herself look like a dark elf. She had actually turned herself into one.
