"She sent back the info. She's got the DNA and shorted out the headset." May said. "That should buy us enough time." Minda said. "Delete the photos and lets all get out of here."

The others nodded. Riley let out a sigh of relief as she got a reply saying the photos were destroyed. "Thank goodness. Now to get out of here before he gets back." She said, turning to leave the apartment.

She quickly and quietly slipped out and returned to her post.
"Okay, load in everyone, including those he turned." Minda said as they started loading onto a bus. "I can't believe we're actually going to escape." Aida said.

The bus sped out and onto the road.
Gene soon returned to his room after repairing the wiring as he got the headset on. "Resume game." he said as nothing happened. "Resume game." he said as nothing happened as he took it off. "Good thing I keep a backup." he said putting on a headset from his desk. "Resume Game." he said returning to his game body. "So ladies, where...did you go?" he said finding himself alone in the pool.

Looking around in confusion he soon noticed the missing fountain statue. "No...Girls!" He yelled, holding up his hand to force them to come out of hiding. However he couldn't feel anything reacting to his command.

"Damn it...they're too far away." he said as he hurried to the garage and into his car. "Where are the girls?" he demanded. "Heading for the rift." the car said. "What rift?" he asked. "The update patch for this game." the car said.

"This was a mandatory update. Authorization was overwritten." the computer said. "Damn it. If they make it through, the firewall will detect my build and delete it." he growled.
