"He has to be within a specific range to alter us. Roughly a couple feet. We need to keep ahead and don't stop." Missy said.

Minda nodded, keeping the pedal pushed as far down as she could. The others watched nervously as the car was gaining on them.

"Come on...almost..." he said before seeing them approach the building. "Gah!" he said said as they zoomed right through the rift as his car crashed. "Ugh..."
"Wha!" the girls cried before things turned to black. When they regained consciousness, they found themselves in a strange hub like place wearing some futuristic clothing and Mirabelle and Jess returned to normal. "We're...we're not dead?" Minda asked. "No...looks like the firewall only deleted Gene's mod on us." May said checking the specs.

"But what happened to Gene?" Allison asked. "The firewall deleted his mod and locked his controls...he's stuck there." May said.
Gene groaned as he saw the world he made start to fade. "Rogue universe detected. Deletion in progress." the computer said repeatedly. "No, undelete! Un-...Exit game!" he said as nothing happened. "EXIT GAME! Exit freaking game! Exit freaking game!" he said as in the real world, his body lie motionless as Minda and Riley looked at it.

"So someone that sounded like me told you to set him up like this?" Minda asked Riley. "Yeah. They threatened to put some embarrassing stuff online." Riley said as Minda walked over to check Gene's pulse.

"I see...the issue came from the game he was on. Looks like his consciousness was deleted." Minda said. "He's nothing but a shell now." "So...what do we do?" Riley asked.

Riley nodded, wincing as she got a small zap. Taking both headsets she left the room to dispose of them.
