We open to a small coffee shop in the evening of the city as rain poured down. Its lone caretaker working on a brew even as we speak, preparing to listen to some of his valued customers.

Grabbing a clean mug he looked over as a couple customers walked in out of the rain.

"Welcome. Have a seat." he said to the couple as they sat down. "Well...aren't you an unusual pair." he said seeing the couple was an angel and a demon.

"Well...I originally came for work and thought about giving dating a try." the angel said.

"I was already working here. Had tried dating a number of humans, but I couldn't help seeing them as anything more than a new deal to be made." The demon said. "While searching through one of the numerous dating apps I came across a surprising profile." The demon said, looking to the angel.
