“He was that jealous of Marina?” The queen said in surprise. “Is that her name? I’ll have to make her end slow and painful.” He smiled.

"Unfortunately you're too late. She's fled with my people." the queen said. "That so? Think she'll come swimming back if I show your head on his spear?" he asked.

"You won't make it out of this city alive." She said as the guards swam in to protect her. He just smiled though as he began attacking the guards, easily avoiding their attacks.

Grabbing a spear as one of the guards fell the queen drove it into the devil's back.

"Leave him!" The queen demanded as the remaining guards surrounded her, spears at the ready.

"Grr....very well. But know this...there will come a day when my kind will be free of their prison and tear this mortal plane you call the world apart." the devil laughed before he vanished from the guard captain as the captain coughed up some black blood before floating their lifelessly.

The guards pulled back. "What should we do now my queen?" Another guard asked. "Secure the area. Until there is no chance the devil will return we can't risk anyone returning to the city."
